ECO Adventures

Bed and Breakfast Adventure Day

Allow Pisgah Adventures to swing by and pick you up after breakfast and to have you back in time for dinner - Downtown! Your pick of Hiking, Kayaking/Canoeing, Mt./Rd. Biking or Rock Climbing! Pick up is at 8:30am, and your back by 6:00pm. Pisgah Adventures provides all required equipment, lunch, water and snacks. Guides bring vast knowledge of both the natural world and the technical world. Come explore the mountain trails, whitewater creeks or flat water rivers, rock faces, waterfalls and walkways in the wilderness. Pisgah Adventures' staff will shot a bunch of pictures, which will be available for purchase at the end of the day. Activitiy fees vary with adventure and participant numbers please call to arrange your custom trip.

WW Paddling Trip

Join us for a day on the river. Pisgah Adventures's ACA Kayak Instructors will show you the lines or a pleasant float. Unlike our Instructional Clinics this one is meant to really enjoy the river. Either running rapids or fishing for small mouth while float fishing. Runs available pending on water are: Wilson Creek, Section 6 or 9 of the French Broad, the Pigeon River, Tuckaseegee, or Section 3 of the Chattooga. Shuttle assistance maybe required with participant vehicles. Lunch provided and equipment is available for rent, $35 per person. Trip rates are $165.00 for one person/$300 for two/$365 for three/$450 for four. Limit of four.

French Broad Float Trip

Enjoy a relaxing float or fishing trip. Join Pisgah Adventures as we paddle Sit On Top kayaks 7.2 miles of the French Broad River. We'll start under the Blue Ridge Parkway, float by the majastic Biltmore House. This flat water trip travels down stream passing Canada Geese, an occasion deer and a curtain of trees along the river bank. This family approved trip is just $85 for  two, $100 for three and $125 for four. Equipment included, shuttle to be set. Brown bag lunch.

John's Rock Day Hike

The Pisgah Fish Hatchery will be our host, after a brief introduction to Pisgah, we'll head out to travel around John's Rock. Thought Cat Gap, past the shelter at Butter Gap, long Cedar Creek and around Picklesimer Fields. Summiting 3280 ft. John's Rock affords us great 360 degree views, rocky overlooks, and a great day hike! Instructional lessons include tree/wildflower identification, photograph tours, orienteering, and LNT.  Guided hike $35/person limit 6.

 Picken's Nose or the Chimneys Rock and Rappell

 Join us for a day of climbing and rappelling. After meeting in Asheville we'll travel to near by rock faces for safe and introductory climbing then "go for it" and rappell over 100 feet in open space to the ground. Includes all equipment and lunch. Limit four participants please. $175 for one/$275 for two/$365 for three/ $450 for four.
