Pisgah Adventures hires guides on a contractual basis: providing our clients with active outdoor professionals.

           ASSISTANT GUIDE - Minimum of 12 months back country experience and a working knowledge of 3 of the following activities:

           LEAD GUIDE- Minimum of 24 months back country experience and a working knowledge of 8 of the following and a mastery of 5:

back country travel, rock climbing and rappelling, caving, orienteering, primitive skills, whitewater kayak/canoe/raft, sea kayaking, mountaineering, canyoneering, wilderness first aid, fifteen passenger van and trailer experience and an absolute desire to introduce folks to the backcountry with a perspective of conservation, adventure and profit. Wilderness First Responder and CPR for the professional rescuer required and WEMT, ACA, AMGA, WEA or equivalent preferred.
